Last day of school

Today is "our" last day to teach this year.  The kids have another week or so, but we're off!  To celebrate, we made homemade ice cream after lunch.  If you're wondering, a 6-quart White Mountain ice cream freezer does make enough for 50 kids, 5 teachers and a few other adults.

Some of the kids helped with the cranking even though they didn't know what to expect.  I'm guessing that this is going to have to be a last day of school tradition.

Stephen and I finished today because we are going to Guatemala on Saturday morning.  We'll be studying Spanish in Antigua for 8 weeks.  We're praying that this will be our final "formal" course in Spanish.
