Forever Royal

There's a big, big parade in Kansas City today . . . . the town is celebrating the Royals--World Series Champions 2015.  The news stories about our team since the Royals won Game 5 on Sunday night are nothing short of amazing.  Stories of great leadership, relentless commitment, a team that is a family, fans who are respectful, a city who loves baseball and so much more.

So proud to be from Kansas City . . . . and celebrate the Royals if even from Central America.

Here are links to two stories that are worth reading.  The first is about Royals general manager, Dayton Moore, and the second is an interview with Royals 2nd baseman, Ben Zobrist, after the Game 5 win.  They both give the glory to our great God!

Go Royals

We were fortunate last night to watch most of the five-hour Royal's game.  Since we're an hour behind Kansas City, it was just after midnight when the game ended.  Sure was exciting!

Tonight's game was amazing, as well.  Great to see the boys in blue storming the castle!  Now, it's on to New York!

What a difference a day makes!

Got to love the way the Royals came back and tied up the series.  So happy for the fans that were at the game tonight--what a difference a day makes!

World Series

Although it didn't turn out like they wanted it to, Daniel and Jon had the opportunity to see the Royal's game in person and with their cousins, Jensen and Laken.  Here was the view from their seats:

Here they are . . . four cousins in a row.

Pretty surprised that they all have smiles on their faces with a 7-1 loss.  I was hoping to get a glimpse of them on TV, but no luck!
